Seasons and Cycles
This pair of pieces is part of a group of songs I wrote for sextet. The recordings feature Kurleen Nowickas (voice), Michael Galen (percussion), Nick Morrison (bass), Abner Deitle (trumpet), and Wyck Malloy (tenor sax). Recorded and mixed by Josh Powell at The Map Room (Portland, OR).
Portland Kora Project
This trio consisted of Will Dudley (kora and ngoni), Darian Anthony Patrick (percussion), and myself on guitar. “Ben Jam” was composed by Will Dudley; all other samples were written by Ben Finley. All audio recorded by D.A. Patrick. Video created by Kristin Mico.
Snowdon Peak
A music video I created after climbing this craggy peak in SW Colorado with my dad.
Baroque Music
Two pieces of old music (early 1700’s). I recorded the Weiss Fantasy on classical guitar and the Bach Prelude on steel-stringed acoustic guitar (with heavy manipulation in post-production).
7 Shanties
A collection of tunes I wrote, performed, and recorded on a 4-track tape recorder. The songs reflect on years of working as a captain and a deckhand on charter boats on the San Francisco Bay.

This jazz trio featured Amy Tanisha Simmons (voice), Zach Parkes (bass), and myself on guitar. Recordings by Quincy Kowolik.
